Welcome to my Author’s website! I am so glad you dropped by.

I am a retired administrative assistant, married to my wonderful husband for over 40 years, and the mom of three adult children. I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario but, as an adult, made my home in Mississauga, Ontario.

I have been a voracious reader with a vivid imagination my whole life. Although I did some recreational writing in my youth, I didn’t keep it up as I made my way into the world of work and raising children.

A few years ago, I was bitten by the writing bug again and started writing Fan Fiction based on Marvel characters. Although there was an action/adventure piece to these stories, I found that what I loved writing about most of all are the intimate moments between two people…be they lovers or friends…those quiet, secret moments that we can only share with those we love most in the world. But around those intimate moments, there are harrowing and life-altering challenges to be faced…I have been told that I am very mean to my characters, but I find that makes for good storytelling.

Many writers plot out their novels before they start, but that’s never been my process. I usually flesh out my characters and the beginning of their adventures together in my mind before I put pencil to paper (or fingers to keyboard, depending on the story), then I let the story flow. At some point, they will usually take over and start ‘writing’ their own stories and I just come along for the ride. Some of my best storylines have been driven by the characters as they developed.

Rising from the Shadows, Book 2 in the Shadows and Secrets Duology is being released at the end of September 2026.
